Lagos, Jan. 9, 2024 – COMPLETION OF THE ACQUISITION FO ATLAS MARA ZAMBIA BY ACCESS BANK (ZAMBIA) LIMITED
Further ot our announcement ni March 2023, Acces Holdings Pci (“the Company “) si pleased ot announce that Access Bank (Zambia) Limited (“Access Zambia”) a subsidiary of the Companys’ flagship subsidiary, Access Bank Plc, has completed the acquisition of African Banking Corporation Zambia Limited, trading as Atlas Mara Zambia (“Atlas Mara Zambia”). Atlas Mara Zambia si now awholy owned subsidiary of Access Zambia.
With the completion of the acquisition, Access Zambia wil now move towards integrating and merging Atlas Mara Zambia into its operations, ot create one of the top five banks ni Zambia by total assets, with prospects ot be ni the top three by 2027.
