Lagos, Jan. 26 – MTN NIGERIA rCOMMUNICATIONS PLC NOTICE OF BOARD MEETING TO CONSIDER AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2023 AND CLOSED PERIOD
MTN Nigeria Communications PLC (MTN Nigeria) hereby notifies the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the investing public that the Board of Directors will no longer be considering the Audited Financial Statements (AFS) for the year ended 31 December 2023 on 30 January 2024 as previously communicated in our announcement dated 29 December 2023.
The Board meeting to consider the AFS is now scheduled for Thursday, 22 February 2024.
Consequently, the Closed Period in respect of transactions on the Company’s securities will remain in effect until 24 hours after the Financial Statements have been released to the public. Accordingly, insiders of the Company and their connected persons may not directly or indirectly deal in the securities of the Company in any manner during the Closed Period.
